This one-day conference aims to open up debate and exploration of the notion of the other in psychology, performance studies, writing and other disciplines. As the notion of what is ‘me’ and what is ‘not me’ pervades our perceptions of Self and other, the day will explore this primary theme through workshops, a keynote, a performance and a round table.

Presented by Sesame Institute, Davidholtonline and Centre of Excellence for Training in Theatre, this Lecture (intercut with a performance by Richard Hougham and three Sesame students) was delivered at a one day interdisciplinary conference in April 2008. Mark Saban, Jungian Analyst speaks on Dionysus, body, and theatre, looking at our embodiment and how the psychological body is enacted.
